There is a website called which is simple to use and really rewarding. It is a channel through which individuals purchase goods and services through their favourite providers and, at no extra cost, the retailer gives a percentage directly to the church.

As you may be aware, St Francis Community Church is planning a large restructuring and rebuilding process to address the present structural problems and to meet the needs of future generations in this church. This will incur expenditure which will have to be met over the next few years from both church funds and outside sources.

St Francis committee is very conscious of the extraordinary financial commitment demonstrated by our church family and in today’s economic climate, there are new pressures placed upon us.

Whatever happens in the planning and restructuring, expenditure is unavoidable but a painless way of raising money is to use when you are shopping on-line.

There are approximately 2000 retailers including many popular names, all of which take part in the scheme. When you buy anything from these outlets through a website, either a percentage of the value of your purchase, or a set sum, is automatically donated to St Francis. Buying in this way will often also get discounts on your purchases.

The first step is to go to and register as a user, next you identify St Francis Community Church, Headley Down as the Organisation that you wish funds to be sent to.

Once registered, on the site’s Home Page is a list of categories from which you can choose a particular store. Alternatively, you can enter into its search facility a specific retailer to see if it participates in the scheme. Against each retailer’s name is shown either the percentage of the purchase price, or a set amount which will be donated to St Francis as a result of your order.

Please Note. The donation to St Francis will only be made if you access the on-line store through the easyfundraising website. If you go direct to the store’s own site, no donation will be credited.

Also, there is an associated site called which can be used as a search engine. It works in the same way as easyfundraising one penny is donated to St Francis. For more information about the scheme, speak to Allan Revers or Paul Whitley, either when you are next at church or via "Contact Us"
